What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a variety of psychological treatments that aim to help a person identify and change troubling emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. At Florecer we also believe that therapy is a gift to yourself with the ultimate goal to gain the tools you need to have better relationships and flourish within yourself in a way that you feel satisfied, and at peace with the life that you build as you age and look back on how you broke free from the feelings that were holding you back.

Fear of going to therapy may hold you back from taking the first step. No need to dread, you can expect a supportive and welcoming place where at the same time your therapist will engage you in the process of discovering new ways to deal with challenges.

Because no two people are the same and we all have different experiences in life, our approach is diverse and take from different modalities our therapist are trained on. Our therapist will meet you where you currently are in your life so you can feel comfortable in the process. Our team of therapist are trained in several evidence-based treatments approved by the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health that focus on the healing of trauma, anxiety, depression, relational issues, parenting support, substance abuse, and many more mental health conditions.

Online Therapy or Telehealth
Telehealth is the term used to refer to online psychotherapy. We can provide telehealth to individuals who live in California or in Florida using our HIPPA complaint platform SIMPLE PRACTICE, which is a secure and confidential space.
ONLINE therapy is convenient for busy professionals, individuals who are homebound, or who not live in the San Fernando Valley or Santa Clarita in California. Online Counseling allows us to provide services to those living near metropolitan areas such as San Diego, San Jose, Santa Clara, Palmdale, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Irvine, Orange County, and rural areas in California.

For local clients, in person can be scheduled at our office located in the Warner Center area in Woodland Hills, CA.

Our Woodland hills office is located at the Farmer building in the Warner Center area of Woodland Hills, CA. Also across from Costco Wholesale and the Westfield Village outdoor mall.
We are easily accessible to the entire San Fernando Valley from the 101 Freeway via the Topanga Canyon Exit.

Parking. The Farmers building shares parking with The Village Shopping Center in Woodland Hills and Costco Wholesale. You receive 90 minutes of free parking when you enter through The Village or Costco. After your session you will also have the opportunity to shop or dine. The office is conveniently accessible from the Ventura Freeway (101) in the San Fernando Valley. Florecer Family Counseling provide services to the cities in San Fernando Valley (Calabazas, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Encino, Northridge, Porter Rach, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, West Hills, Winnetka, Woodland Hills, and Ventura County (Agoura, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks).
